Invite Users

Invite teammates to your 1eyeᴬᴵ workspace so they can help review signals, build target lists, launch campaigns, manage conversations, and connect the channels needed for engagement.

Each user has a workspace role, status, sign-in method, and connected apps. Roles control what each teammate can access and what actions they can take inside 1eyeᴬᴵ.

Before you begin

To invite users, you need:

  1. Admin access to your 1eyeᴬᴵ workspace

  2. The teammate’s work email

  3. The role you want to assign

  4. Optional details like title, phone number, and middle name

For this guide, we’ll use Snowbricks as the example workspace.

Where to find Users

You can access Users from the top-right navigation.

  1. Open your 1eyeᴬᴵ workspace

  2. Select Users from the top-right navigation

  3. Review existing users

  4. Select Invite User to add a new teammate

The Users page shows who has access to your workspace and whether each user is active, pending, or suspended.

What you can see on the Users page

The Users page gives you a quick view of your team.

You can see:

  1. User name

  2. Email

  3. Status

  4. Role

  5. Sign-in method

  6. Connected apps

  7. LinkedIn connection status

You can also search, filter, and review users by status.

User statuses

Users can appear in different statuses depending on whether they have accepted the invite and whether their access is active.

Status

What it means

Active

The user has access to the workspace.

Pending

The user has been invited but has not accepted yet.

Suspended

The user does not currently have active workspace access.

Use status filters to review active, pending, and suspended users.

User roles

1eyeᴬᴵ supports three workspace roles:

  1. Admin

  2. Marketer

  3. Viewer

Choose the role based on what the teammate needs to do in the workspace.

Admin

Admins have full access to the workspace.

Use Admin for teammates who manage workspace setup, users, billing, integrations, settings, and GTM operations.

Admins can manage:

  1. Workspace settings

  2. Billing and plan management

  3. Users and roles

  4. Teams

  5. Integrations

  6. Knowledge Base

  7. Signals

  8. Target lists

  9. Companies and contacts

  10. Campaigns, workflows, and conversations

A workspace can have more than one Admin.

Marketer

Marketers are the active GTM users inside 1eyeᴬᴵ.

Use Marketer for teammates who need to run day-to-day GTM execution. Marketers can create, edit, launch, send, export, and manage GTM activity, but they do not manage account-level settings like billing or workspace administration.

Marketers can work with:

  1. Signals

  2. Target lists

  3. Companies

  4. Contacts

  5. ICPs

  6. Personas

  7. Campaigns

  8. Workflows

  9. Conversations

  10. Exports

Marketers can connect engagement channels such as mailbox, LinkedIn, and iMessage when those channels are enabled for the workspace.

Viewer

Viewers have read-only access to the workspace.

Use Viewer for teammates, executives, advisors, or stakeholders who need visibility into workspace data but should not change anything.

Viewers can view:

  1. Signals

  2. Target lists

  3. Companies

  4. Contacts

  5. ICPs

  6. Personas

  7. Campaigns

  8. Workflows

  9. Conversations

  10. Reports and exports

Viewers can export data, but they cannot create, edit, delete, launch, send, connect channels, or manage workspace settings.

Step 1: Open the Users page

From your workspace, select the Users icon in the top-right navigation.

This opens the Users page.

Here you can review:

  1. All users

  2. Active users

  3. Pending users

  4. Suspended users

  5. User roles

  6. Connected apps

  7. LinkedIn connection status

Step 2: Select Invite User

Select Invite User.

This opens the Invite User form.

The form includes:

  1. First name

  2. Middle name

  3. Last name

  4. Title

  5. Role

  6. Phone number

  7. Email

Step 3: Add user details

Enter the teammate’s details.

For example, if Snowbricks wants to invite a GTM user:

Use the teammate’s real work email so they can accept the invite and access the workspace.

Step 4: Choose a role

Select the right role for the user.

Use Admin if the teammate should manage workspace setup, users, billing, settings, integrations, and account-level controls.

Use Marketer if the teammate should run GTM execution, including signals, target lists, campaigns, workflows, conversations, sending, and exports.

Use Viewer if the teammate only needs to view and export workspace data.

For most day-to-day GTM teammates, Marketer is the right starting role.

Step 5: Send the invite

After filling out the form, select Invite User.

1eyeᴬᴵ sends an invitation to the user’s email.

After the invite is sent, the user may appear as Pending until they accept the invitation and sign in.

Step 6: User accepts the invite

The invited user should open the invitation email and sign in.

Once the user signs in, their status should update to Active.

If the user does not see the invite, ask them to check their spam folder or confirm that the email address was entered correctly.

Step 7: Review the user profile

After a user is active, you can open their profile to review their settings.

The user profile includes:

  1. General

  2. Schedule

  3. Mailbox

  4. LinkedIn

  5. iMessage

These tabs help you understand the user’s profile, sending schedule, and connected channels.

General tab

The General tab shows the user’s basic profile and workspace access.

You can review:

  1. First name

  2. Last name

  3. Title

  4. Phone number

  5. Email

  6. Role

  7. User type

  8. Last login

  9. Created date

  10. Updated date

For Snowbricks, an example user profile could look like:

Schedule tab

The Schedule tab controls the user’s message schedule.

You can review or configure:

  1. Sending window

  2. Timezone

  3. Active sending days

  4. Holiday exclusions

Use schedule settings so campaign messages are sent during the user’s preferred working hours.

Mailbox tab

The Mailbox tab shows whether the user has connected a mailbox.

Connected mailboxes allow 1eyeᴬᴵ to support email steps in campaign workflows, send messages, track replies, and manage email conversations.

You can see whether a mailbox is connected, disconnected, or needs attention.

LinkedIn tab

The LinkedIn tab shows whether the user has connected LinkedIn.

Connected LinkedIn accounts allow 1eyeᴬᴵ to support LinkedIn steps in campaign workflows, where enabled.

You can see whether LinkedIn is connected and review connection limits and message limits.

iMessage tab

The iMessage tab shows whether the user has connected an iMessage line.

Connected iMessage lines allow 1eyeᴬᴵ to support iMessage steps, inbound reply tracking, and conversation delivery where enabled.

You can see whether an iMessage line is connected and review usage limits.

Connected apps

The Users page shows connected apps for each user.

Connected apps may include:

  1. Google sign-in

  2. Mailbox

  3. LinkedIn

  4. iMessage

Connected apps help 1eyeᴬᴵ understand which channels are available for each user.

If a user is missing a connection, they may not be available for certain campaign steps.

How users affect campaigns

Users matter because campaign workflows may depend on user roles, schedules, and connected channels.

For example:

  1. Email steps need a connected mailbox

  2. LinkedIn steps need a connected LinkedIn account

  3. iMessage steps need a connected iMessage line

  4. Sending schedules control when messages can go out

  5. Roles control who can manage, launch, send, or only view workspace activity

Before launching campaigns, make sure the right users are active, assigned the right roles, and connected to the right channels.

A small team can start with one Admin and one Marketer.

A larger GTM team may add multiple Marketers for sales, marketing, RevOps, and outbound execution, plus Viewers for leadership or read-only stakeholders.

Best practices

  1. Invite the core team first
    Start with the teammates who need to review signals, build lists, launch campaigns, or manage conversations.

  2. Use Admin carefully
    Admins can manage important workspace and account-level settings. Give Admin access only to teammates who need it.

  3. Use Marketer for GTM execution
    Marketers are best for teammates who create target lists, launch campaigns, send messages, manage workflows, and handle conversations.

  4. Use Viewer for read-only access
    Viewers are best for executives, advisors, investors, or teammates who need visibility but should not change anything.

  5. Connect channels before launching campaigns
    Campaign workflows need the right channels connected before email, LinkedIn, or iMessage steps can run.

  6. Set schedules before sending
    Configure sending windows and timezones so messages go out at the right time.

  7. Review pending users
    If a teammate has not accepted their invite, they may still appear as Pending. Follow up before launching workflows that depend on their account.

  8. Keep user profiles current
    Update titles, roles, schedules, and connected apps as teammate responsibilities change.

  9. Keep at least two Admins when possible
    This helps avoid losing access to workspace-level controls if one Admin is unavailable.

  10. Suspend users who no longer need access
    If a teammate leaves the GTM motion or no longer needs access, suspend their access based on your workspace policy.

Troubleshooting

User did not receive the invite

Ask the user to check:

  1. Inbox

  2. Spam folder

  3. Promotions or updates folder

  4. Whether the invite was sent to the correct email address

If needed, resend the invite.

User is stuck in Pending

The user may not have accepted the invite yet.

Ask them to open the invitation email and sign in with their work account.

User cannot sign in

Check:

  1. They are using the right email

  2. They are using a supported sign-in method

  3. Their invitation was sent to the same email they are using to sign in

  4. Their workspace access has not been suspended

User cannot access a feature

Check their role.

Some actions require the right workspace role. For example, a Viewer can view and export workspace data, but cannot create, edit, launch, send, or delete anything.

User cannot invite another user

Only Admins can invite users.

If a Marketer or Viewer needs to invite someone, they should ask a workspace Admin.

User cannot manage billing or plan settings

Billing and plan management are available to Admins.

User cannot send email campaign steps

Check whether the user has the right role and whether their mailbox is connected.

Open the user profile and review the Mailbox tab.

User cannot use LinkedIn campaign steps

Check whether the user has the right role and whether their LinkedIn account is connected.

Open the user profile and review the LinkedIn tab.

User cannot use iMessage campaign steps

Check whether the user has the right role and whether their iMessage line is connected.

Open the user profile and review the iMessage tab.

Messages are not sending at the expected time

Check the user’s schedule.

Review:

  1. Sending window

  2. Timezone

  3. Selected days

  4. Holiday exclusion settings

User appears inactive

Check whether the user has signed in and whether their status is Active.

If they are Suspended, restore access only if they should still be part of the workspace.

Viewer cannot edit or launch anything

This is expected.

Viewers can view and export data, but they cannot create, edit, delete, launch, send, connect channels, or configure workspace activity.

FAQ

Who should I invite first?

Invite the workspace Admin first, then add the GTM teammates who will review signals, build target lists, launch campaigns, or manage conversations.

What role should most GTM users have?

Most day-to-day GTM users should be Marketers.

When should someone be an Admin?

Use Admin for teammates who need to manage workspace settings, users, billing, plans, integrations, roles, or campaign configuration.

When should someone be a Viewer?

Use Viewer for people who need visibility into workspace data but should not change anything.

Can Marketers connect their own channels?

Yes. Marketers can connect engagement channels such as mailbox, LinkedIn, and iMessage when enabled for the workspace.

Can Viewers connect channels?

No. Viewers have read-only access with export permissions. They cannot connect channels.

Do users need connected apps to use 1eyeᴬᴵ?

Users can access the workspace without all channels connected, but campaign workflows may require connected apps depending on the channel.

Can I invite users before launching campaigns?

Yes. It is best to invite users and connect required channels before launching campaigns.

Can I change a user’s role later?

Yes. Admins can update user roles as responsibilities change.

Can I suspend a user?

Yes. Suspend users who no longer need access to the workspace.

Can one user connect multiple mailboxes?

Yes, where supported, a user can connect multiple Google mailboxes.

Why does LinkedIn show separately?

LinkedIn is a separate engagement channel. Users who need LinkedIn campaign steps should connect their LinkedIn account.

Can a workspace have multiple Admins?

Yes. A workspace can have more than one Admin.
